Space Meetings Veneto: A Successful Third Edition

The third edition of Space Meetings Veneto concluded with significant participation from across the global space sector, including over 360 companies from 25 countries and 180 international speakers.

From the booth within the Rete Innovativa Regionale Aerospace Innovation and Research (RIR AIR) area, STAM held around 30 high-value B2B meetings, identifying innovative technologies and market needs to support strategic space technology transfers. In line with our role as an ESA Technology Broker, STAM showcased a recent success story from Italy: a collaboration between Artigo S.p.a (Mondo Sport & Flooring Group) and inovaLab, demonstrating how space technology can enable fully circular sport flooring solutions.

STAM also engaged in key discussions during the Investment Forum and the session “Defining a Space Roadmap: The Draghi Report and Post-ESA Ministerial 2025 Perspectives,” featuring experts from ESA, ASI, the European Commission, and major aerospace companies.

The event celebrated innovation through the Veneto Stars Challenge Award, with teams from 7 European countries, 10 final pitches, and 3 winners. Notably, 57 students from the University of Padua launched a carbon-fiber rocket, highlighting the potential of academic research.

Many thanks to Regione Veneto, Veneto Innovazione S.p.A., AGENDA DIGITALE VENETO, Università degli Studi di Padova, CO.SI.MO, abe – advanced business events, and RIR AIR for organizing a successful and impactful event.
